Field & Events Marketing Manager

Stepful•New York, NY
•$110,000 - $130,000•Hybrid

About The Position

Stepful is a workforce platform that redefines how America's largest health systems build, train, and retain their talent. Since its founding in 2021, Stepful has trained over 32,000 practice-ready healthcare workers. Layering onto its successful direct-to-consumer training, Stepful partners with leading healthcare institutions to address the growing national shortage of healthcare workers. The company aims to improve access to quality healthcare for everyone, everywhere, and improve access to healthcare career ladders for those who need them most. Stepful's students form the talent pipelines for major employers such as NY-Presbyterian, Mt. Sinai, HCA, Providence, CVS, and Walgreens. The company has partnerships with half of the top 10 health systems in the US and is in process with many more. Stepful is backed by Y Combinator, Reach Capital, and AlleyCorp, with a recent $55M Series C led by Oak HC/FT. It was named the #1 EdTech company in the U.S. by TIME for 2025. The company values mission-driven builders who thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments and embody its four core values: Care first, Learn quickly, Build together, and Own it. Events are a direct way to connect with health system and workforce leaders who partner with Stepful. This role will run the events program, ensuring every event is executed well, every conversation is captured and followed up, and learnings are used to improve future events. The role involves running a seasonal calendar of about two events a month (up to four in the fall), working with an events contractor and partnering with Growth leadership on overall event strategy. The role also includes running the paid webinar program and assisting in the launch of a Stepful-hosted event in 2027. The ideal candidate is scrappy and self-sufficient, capable of building necessary processes rather than waiting for them. This opportunity can be hybrid, based out of the NYC office, or fully remote, reporting into the Director, Enterprise Marketing. The role involves up to 30% travel.
