About The Position

Provide field support to Project Manager and Engineer. Track and report daily quantities for labor and materials. Provide technical engineering information and interpretation of plans, detail sheets and specifications for contractors. Enforce quality control and expediting subcontractors. Coordinate inspections with consultants. Review shop drawings and submittals for conformance with contract. Ensure construction work complies with plans and specifications. Update submittal and RFI logs. Track vendor and subcontractor progress. Schedule updates. Project document control. Prepare daily reports. Support project cost tracking. Update project schedule.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (B. A. or B.S.) from four-year college or university in Civil Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Ecological Restoration, Hydrology, Geology, or equivalent.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in order to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients and customers.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and interpret a variety of instructions given in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
  • Knowledge of and experience with Excel, Procore, Primavera P6, Bluebeam, or AutoCAD.
  • Regular and predictable physical presence at assigned work location is an essential qualification for this position.
  • Valid current Driver’s License required.
  • Ability to travel, as needed, for projects.
