About The Position

Field Engineers support the identification of quality issues and assist with hands-on root cause analysis. They support OEM Manufacturing, Engineering, and Supplier Operations. The role is field based and includes providing on-site support to dealer technicians, helping resolve product technical issues, and documenting mission findings, corrective actions, and shortfalls for the OEM enterprise.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of automotive mechanical experience.
• Master Automobile Technician Certification (A1-A8 ASE) and/or equivalent proven experience.
• Ability to travel to dealerships in all 50 states.
• Ability to communicate technical information to all departments.
• Ability to analyze data and create custom reports.
• Ability to effectively use MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and other customized software.
• Ability to work independently and manage a progressive workload in a fast-paced environment.
• Highly motivated, adaptive, and autonomous, with the ability to deliver results.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site support to dealer technicians and help resolve product technical issues.
• Document findings from each mission and the corrective actions taken.
• Document shortfalls identified during missions for the OEM enterprise.
• Support quality-issue identification and hands-on root cause analysis for OEM Manufacturing, Engineering, and Supplier Operations.
