The Field Engineer is a project-based contract role supporting project execution, technical verification, and quality assurance. The role verifies that assigned manufacturing, installation, commissioning, and remediation activities conform to approved engineering documentation, equipment installation manuals, project specifications, and applicable standards. It requires strong technical judgment, independent execution, accurate reporting, and effective coordination with teams, site personnel, and third-party contractors. The Field Engineer organizes field documentation; executes assigned activities with minimal oversight; follows applicable safety standards and site-specific procedures; implements approved engineering changes; performs and documents Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT); verifies equipment installation; and supports commissioning and manufacturing milestones within the assigned scope. The role also prepares technical and progress reports, coordinates contractors during remediation, manages non-conformance documentation and corrective actions, and performs or supports root cause analysis. Expected deliverables include organized field documentation; completed FAT and equipment verification records; engineering change implementation records; technical and progress reports with photographic evidence; updated NCR and remediation logs; RCA findings and corrective action records, as applicable; and complete turnover documentation for assigned activities. Travel to project sites, manufacturing facilities, and other designated locations is required as project assignments demand.
