Field Engineer - Southeast
About The Position
The Field Engineer will be responsible for handling all technical inquiries from field personnel, Sales, CMG, and IMG. This role involves investigating field issues to ensure the cause is understood and the repair method is sound. The Field Engineer will manage the QA-22 system for the region, determining issues and their causes, and analyzing QA-22 data for trends to implement necessary changes or additional training. Responsibilities also include coordinating sample taking and lab testing, providing onsite training on new products and techniques, and reviewing quotes/orders to ensure proper products, coverage, labor, and details for quality installation. The role specifically supports new TM's and all field personnel to ensure technical competence in site evaluation, quoting, detail handling, jobsite role, and quality audits. Additionally, the Field Engineer will conduct quarterly technical updates with regional field personnel.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering
- Ability to proactively identify opportunities and quickly implement solutions.
- Demonstrated excellent oral and written communication, presentation, organization and planning skills.
- Must be very flexible and able to work in a self-directed, rapidly changing environment.
- Must be computer literate with experience using technology and customer relationship management software (Salesforce.com), and Microsoft 365.
Responsibilities

- Responsible for quote/order review to ensure proper products, coverage, labor, and details are accounted for to ensure a quality installation
- Works specifically with new TM’s and all field personnel to ensure they become technically competent with regard to site evaluation, quoting, detail handling, jobsite role and quality audits.
- Conducts quarterly technical updates with regional field personnel.
