About The Position

Prescient Edge is seeking a Field Engineer to support a federal government client. This role involves conducting a wide range of lab and field-related activities with sensor applications, sensor system integration, networking, and fleet troubleshooting. The engineer will be responsible for rapid field solutioning of network systems on manned and unmanned systems, including configuring mesh network systems, Starlink, routers, and radio communication equipment. This position also requires serving as the forward face of the team with the US Government, Allied Nations, and international industry partners.

Requirements

• Background with conducting a wide range of lab and field related activities with sensor applications, sensor system integration, networking, and fleet troubleshooting.
• Capability to conduct rapid field solutioning of network systems on manned and unmanned systems.
• Ability to configure mesh network systems, Starlink, routers, radio communication equipment.
• Must have at least a secret clearance.
• Must be located within 1 hour of San Diego Area.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with unmanned systems.
• Linux experience.
