Field Engineer III

Worley•Cameron, LA
•Onsite

About The Position

The Mechanical, Piping, General Area Walkdown Engineer provides field engineering and technical support following construction activities to ensure mechanical equipment, piping systems, heat recovery steam generators (HRSGs), ducting, vendor equipment, rotating equipment, pumps, air-cooled equipment, and related systems are accurately reflected in engineering documentation and as-built records. The role serves as a field resource validating installations, identifying discrepancies, and producing field markups and redlines that support reliable final engineering records. The position is highly technical and field-focused, involving work within an industrial facility to verify actual conditions against engineering and construction documentation. The engineer works with construction, commissioning, engineering, operations, maintenance, and design teams to ensure facility documentation reflects installed conditions and supports safe operations, maintenance, reliability programs, and future projects. The role also supports construction readiness, system turnover, operational readiness, documentation improvement, and continuous improvement activities. Worley is a global energy, chemicals, and resources company headquartered in Australia. It provides consulting, engineering, procurement, and construction services across the project lifecycle, extending through operations and decommissioning. This position is based in Cameron, Louisiana.
