About The Position

ID Plans is hiring a Field Data Specialist for a 100% travel role collecting accurate data at commercial properties such as shopping centers, warehouses, and office parks. The specialist works independently, typically traveling out of state Monday through Friday and being home most weekends. Most travel is regional, though not all of it is. Lodging, fuel, meals, mileage, and other major travel expenses are covered. Candidates use their own reliable vehicle capable of carrying a 6-foot ladder and handling long-distance travel; tools and equipment needed for the work are provided. The role involves visiting properties to capture precise measurements and document building features, systems, and site details using 3D cameras, laser measurement tools, technology devices, and specialized software. Most work time is spent gathering and entering data accurately. Communication is limited and remote, but the specialist must coordinate property access and arrival times with property managers and proactively communicate with a Regional Manager, trainers, mentors, and peers when needed. This position suits someone comfortable with structured, self-directed work, outdoor conditions, ladder climbing, and technology. The company offers paid training, performance bonuses, meal allowances, travel reimbursements, benefits, and the opportunity for company-sponsored drone training and FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certification. Career development may include mentoring others or moving to other departments after demonstrated success in the field.
