About The Position
PURE HomeRiver is looking for a Field Assessor to join their team. This role is for someone who notices details, takes pride in their work, and is reliable. Field Assessors are responsible for ensuring properties are in good condition, acting as the boots on the ground to assess conditions, deploy lockboxes, check on vacancies, and perform minor repairs. The role involves driving between properties and following a defined process, documenting work with accuracy and care. It is ideal for individuals who value structure, enjoy systems, and find satisfaction in detailed work.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience in Property Management, Field Operations, or Residential Maintenance
- Working knowledge of residential systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical)
- Ability to perform basic maintenance tasks, including rekeys and lock changes
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Nice To Haves
- Experience interacting with municipalities, housing authorities, or court systems preferred
Responsibilities
- Perform move in and move outs
- Place digital lock boxes on properties for marketing purposes
- Perform occupancy checks
- Collaborate with utility providers to fill out applications, submit deposits, and provide meter numbers
- Perform rent ready evaluations to determine if repair items are needed prior to moving in
- Evaluate the quality of work performed by third party contractors
