About The Position

Mindbody is seeking a driven Field Sales Executive to expand our customer base by acquiring and onboarding high-potential local businesses across the fitness, beauty, and wellness industries. This is a highly field-based role (50-60% travel within local area with the bandwidth to expand to expand to 70-80% travel as we scale), best suited for someone energized by being in market, building trusted relationships with business owners, and representing Mindbody as a local expert. As we continue to evolve our field sales strategy, this role offers the opportunity to help shape how Mindbody shows up in local markets and supports wellness entrepreneurs in growing their businesses.

Requirements

  • Experience in outbound B2B sales, field sales, or full-cycle sales, with a strong ability to create pipeline and close new business.
  • A relationship-first sales approach, with confidence engaging business owners in person, over the phone, through email, and through virtual touchpoints.
  • Strong discovery and consultative selling skills, with the ability to connect customer goals to meaningful business outcomes.
  • Proven ability to manage a territory, prioritize accounts, and consistently execute against sales activity and revenue goals.
  • Comfort working in a fast-moving, evolving sales environment where strategy, process, and market approach continue to develop.
  • Strong negotiation, organization, and time management skills, with the ability to balance field activity and pipeline discipline.
  • Experience using tools like Salesforce, Salesloft, or similar sales engagement platforms to manage pipeline and track performance.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with fitness, wellness, salon, spa, or other service-based businesses is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Build and grow Mindbody’s customer network by prospecting, pitching, and closing new businesses in your local territory.
  • Lead with a field-first approach by visiting prospective customers, attending local events, and building relationships with community and industry insiders.
  • Own the full sales cycle, from outreach, drop-ins, and discovery to solution alignment, negotiation, and close.
  • Position Mindbody as a trusted growth partner by connecting our platform’s value to each business owner’s goals, challenges, and customer experience.
  • Consistently achieve or exceed monthly acquisition goals, pipeline targets, and key activity metrics.
  • Act as a local market expert, identifying untapped opportunities across fitness, wellness, salon, spa, and related service-based businesses.
  • Maintain a disciplined pipeline and accurate sales activity in Salesforce, using data to prioritize outreach and move opportunities forward.
  • Partner cross-functionally with sales, onboarding, and customer-facing teams to create a strong handoff experience for newly signed customers
