About The Position

Lightspeed is expanding in the South of France and is looking for a dynamic Field Sales Executive to join our growing regional team. You will be part of a newly formed team and will work collaboratively with our Field Sales Team Lead to accelerate growth and strengthen our market presence. You will be responsible for the entire sales cycle, from lead generation and field prospecting to product demonstrations and closing sales. Your mission is to develop our presence, boost our success in the region, and contribute to Lightspeed's long-term impact in this key market.

Requirements

  • Relevant sales experience in a field and prospecting environment, preferably in selling solutions/technology.
  • Good understanding of business development best practices.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and optimally.
  • Excellent customer service and phone communication skills, including strong listening, speaking, and writing abilities.
  • Ability to meet and/or exceed sales targets.
  • A love for numbers: you prefer a quantitative approach to decision-making.
  • Ability to thrive in a competitive, dynamic, and quota-driven environment.
  • Proficiency in French and English.
  • An entrepreneurial and agile mindset, a bias for action, and the ability to pivot when necessary to meet company needs and objectives.
  • Experience in the hospitality industry.

Responsibilities

  • Transform prospects into satisfied customers through methods like door-to-door sales, cold calling, and in-person presentations.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle, from identifying and developing prospects to meeting clients, creating value propositions, structuring financial deals, negotiating contracts, and closing sales.
  • Visit clients regularly to identify their challenges and pain points.
  • Conduct in-person product demonstrations for retail.
  • Analyze, report on, and take action on pipeline metrics.
  • Drive performance to consistently achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual goals.
  • Create new opportunities through networking events.
