About The Position

Level 1 technicians and Lead Technicians needed. We are open to candidates who are: - Former military experience, veterans who are able to complete a 2 week Fiber Optics installation boot camp - Candidates who have completed a training class in the fiber optics and datacenter building phase - Lead Level Techs - Candidates who have previous experience installing fiber optics equipment, ability to supervise teams of techs, with experience in data center build projects. The Role: 6 months of work in the IES Racktory site in Altoona IA Installing data center cabling and equipment - fiber optics, racks, cable trays Preparing equipment ready for installation into new build data centers.

Requirements

• Former military experience, veterans who are able to complete a 2 week Fiber Optics installation boot camp
• Candidates who have completed a training class in the fiber optics and datacenter building phase
• Candidates who have previous experience installing fiber optics equipment
• Lift 50 pounds
• Work in construction space - heat/cold, inside and outside work
• Work on large teams
• Follow instruction
• Use what has been learned in the training class and apply it
• Using your initiative
• Self starter, find work to do, it's a large site, we value people who will stay engaged and work hard to accomplish their tasks all day
