About The Position

Entry-Level & Lead Fiber Technicians Needed! Ready to launch or grow your career in the booming data center industry? We're hiring Level 1 Technicians and Lead Technicians for an exciting long-term project in Altoona, IA. This role is open to veterans and former military personnel, and recent fiber optics training graduates are encouraged to apply. Experienced lead technicians with fiber installation and team leadership experience are also welcome.

Requirements

• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying conditions
• Team players who take initiative and stay engaged throughout the day

Nice To Haves

• Recent fiber optics training graduates encouraged to apply
• Experienced lead technicians with fiber installation and team leadership experience welcome

Responsibilities

• Install fiber optic cabling, racks, cable trays, and data center equipment
• Support new data center construction projects
• Work alongside large teams in a fast-paced environment
• Apply hands-on technical training and develop new skills
