This role is responsible for ensuring associates comprehend and execute safe work practices, identifying and resolving safety issues, and managing the daily workload for the department. The supervisor will monitor inventory flow, expedite priority product, and resolve pick and ship errors. They will also train associates on equipment, complete incident reports, and identify process improvements. Additionally, the supervisor will monitor staffing needs, conduct shift briefings, communicate business objectives, and drive productivity improvements through coaching. This role involves setting goals, providing feedback, offering developmental opportunities, fostering an engaged and inclusive work environment, participating in the hiring process, training new hires, resolving associate conflicts, and leading associates through change. The supervisor will also respond to incidents and injuries, and collaborate with other operational shifts for consistency.
