About The Position

Cascade Fence & Deck is seeking an experienced builder to lead a fence crew and take ownership of projects. The company has been building high-quality outdoor projects since 1997 and is experiencing growth at its Tumwater location. They are looking for ambitious and capable individuals who want to contribute to building something great. While extensive knowledge of their systems is not required initially, strong construction experience, leadership skills, pride in work, and the ability to keep a crew productive are essential. Requirements

Solid construction or fence-building experience.
Ability to lead people and set the pace on a jobsite.
Pride in quality, efficiency, and clean jobsites.
Professional communication with customers and coworkers.
Dependability and accountability.
Comfort working outdoors year-round.
Valid driver's license and a good driving record (insurable).
Desire to continue learning and increasing value.
Willingness to learn company systems if coming from a related trade.

Nice To Haves

Specific fence experience is preferred.
Strong construction leaders from related trades are welcome if willing to learn company systems.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop a two- to three-person crew building high-quality residential fence projects.
Review project plans and prepare for each job.
Communicate with the project manager and homeowner.
Keep projects productive, organized, and on schedule.
Solve jobsite challenges independently.
Ensure customer satisfaction with the finished product.

$30–$60+ per hour, depending on demonstrated ability and value

Overtime pay for all hours over 40
