About The Position

Averhealth is seeking a part-time Female Drug Screening Representative to support individuals on their path to recovery. The role involves collecting and processing urine samples, maintaining accurate records, and treating each patient with respect, dignity, and professionalism. It is an entry-level position with opportunities for growth within the company. The role covers Glasgow, Tompkinsville, Burkesville, and Albany, Kentucky. The primary worksite may vary based on operational needs, and regular coverage at secondary sites within a 45-mile radius may be required.

The position averages approximately 23.5 hours per week, with varying shifts to accommodate random testing needs. The listed schedule includes two days per week from 5:15 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. in Glasgow, two days per week from 5:45 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. in Tompkinsville, and coverage periods in Burkesville and Albany. Schedules are provided approximately one month in advance.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to confidentiality.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfort working with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 10 pounds for extended periods.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• Flexibility for varying shifts due to random testing needs.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check in patients at the testing center.
• Conduct observed urine collections with female patients complying with probation, completing drug treatment programs, or meeting bond requirements.
• Prepare and ship collected specimens to the Averhealth laboratory.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the testing site.
• Ensure confidentiality and compliance with company and legal standards.
• Provide regular coverage at secondary sites within a 45-mile radius when required.
