About The Position

Board-certified or board-eligible fellowship-trained anesthesiologists are invited to join the academic anesthesiology faculty at the only academic medical center on the Alabama Gulf Coast. Multiple positions are available in cardiovascular, critical care, pediatric, obstetric, and regional anesthesiology. Faculty provide a mix of fellowship cases and general anesthesia and hold an appointment in the Department of Anesthesiology, with academic rank and appointment track commensurate with qualifications and experience. Practice spans multiple hospitals and services, including a Level I Trauma Center, a Children's & Women's Hospital, regional referral services, and an ECMO program.
