As a JBS Manager in Tax Compliance, you will play a pivotal role in managing and implementing tax compliance strategies for our clients. You will provide comprehensive support in tax compliance and reporting, including tax provision, direct and indirect tax returns preparation, and tax reform calculations, all while leveraging standardized processes and leading technology. Your efforts will focus on streamlining and optimizing compliance and reporting processes to align with business strategy, increase efficiency, and promote transparency. Additionally, you will encourage the development of governance, risk, and compliance frameworks, and help shape operating models that support alignment with governing tax regulations and business objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required (4-year degree) in Accounting or a graduate degree in Tax or Law.
  • Typically, no less than 4 - 6 years relevant experience of related tax experience.
  • CPA certification or licensed attorney status.
  • Demonstrated expertise in tax compliance and accounting for income tax reporting requirements.
  • Strong awareness of finance compliance and regulation.
  • Understanding of global compliance requirements.
  • Ability to assess tax legislation and its impact.
  • Familiarity with outsourcing/co-sourcing models.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation.
  • Understanding of US income tax accounting and tax provisions.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Access and data mining tools.
  • Ability to build and manage relationships.
  • Demonstrated client trust and value.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Complex problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
  • Ability to drive outcomes and demonstrate learning agility.
