This Opportunity WSP is currently initiating a search for a Federal Site Investigation and Remediation Design Team Lead with the potential to work out of Redmond, WA; Seattle, WA; or Tacoma, WA. Be involved in projects with our Federal Environmental Team and be a key driver in a growing organization that meets our client’s objectives and solves their challenges. Take part in providing senior leadership and guidance to cross-discipline environmental teams from the Pacific Northwest and beyond in support of the design, development, and implementation of environmental site investigation and cleanup programs for Federal clients in the Pacific Northwest. This position will include serving as a Senior Project Manager overseeing the development and execution of a variety of tasks in support of WSP’s portfolio of environmental programs for Federal clients. Tasks will include managing and overseeing the execution of large field investigations performed in a variety of environments, ranging from logistically-challenging urban/industrial sites to remote backcountry sites; coordinating with and overseeing WSP’s technical and design teams supporting Remedial Designs/Remedial Actions (RD/RAs) at contaminated sites (e.g., CERCLA and RCRA Sites), spanning initial pre-design investigations through RA/project closeout; and serving as a senior leader responsible for organizing and managing technical teams, assuring projects are delivered and adhered to with a focus on quality that meets or exceeds acceptable industry standards and project requirements for design, safety, and functionality. Work will primarily include office assignments, but some travel is likely, including overnight stays, to support project management, client management, and business development needs.
