Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of U.S. AML regulations and financial crime compliance frameworks.
  • Experience in transaction monitoring, sanctions screening, customer risk rating, or fraud management.
  • Ability to assess regulatory compliance gaps and recommend improvements.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and report-writing skills.
  • Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced consulting environment.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • 4+ years of consulting experience.
  • 2+ years of AML, sanctions, fraud, or financial crime compliance experience.

Nice To Haves

  • CAMS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support Financial Crime Compliance (FCC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) consulting engagements.
  • Conduct AML model validations, transaction monitoring, sanctions screening, fraud risk, and customer risk rating assessments.
  • Review, assess, and develop AML/FCC policies and procedures.
  • Perform gap assessments against regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Conduct AML, sanctions, and fraud risk assessments.
  • Evaluate AML program effectiveness, including governance, staffing, controls, and documentation.
  • Prepare client reports and present findings to stakeholders.
