Requirements

  • Excellent proficiency in SQL, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong hands-on experience using SQL to create, manipulate, and analyze large datasets.
  • Ability to clean and normalize complex data.
  • Ability to interpret analytical results, identify patterns, and draw meaningful conclusions.
  • Solid understanding of U.S. Anti-Money Laundering guidelines and regulations.
  • Strong understanding of Transaction Monitoring
  • Strong understanding of Sanctions Screening
  • Strong understanding of Customer Risk Rating
  • Strong understanding of AML Model Validation
  • Strong understanding of Data Reconciliation
  • Strong understanding of Data Lineage
  • Strong understanding of Data Quality
  • Strong understanding of AML System Tuning & Optimization
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, critical-thinking, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to learn and absorb new information quickly.
  • Minimum 4 years of consulting experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of Financial Crimes / AML experience, particularly in transaction monitoring, sanctions screening, and/or customer risk rating.

Nice To Haves

  • Python experience is preferred but not required.
  • CAMS certification preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth analysis of large AML-related datasets.
  • Clean, normalize, and analyze data to identify patterns, trends, gaps, and irregularities.
  • Perform detailed mapping of AML typologies, rules, transaction codes, and related data.
  • Evaluate whether clients' AML systems and data comply with applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Interpret data analysis results and develop clear, concise documentation of findings and conclusions.
  • Work with SMEs and managers to seek guidance and resolve complex issues.
  • Interact professionally with clients and stakeholders at various levels.
  • Manage multiple assignments and priorities simultaneously.
