About The Position

The Fast Track Management Program is a 3–12 month management training program designed to prepare participants to efficiently operate a Brakes Plus store. Participants learn the business and how to operate a financially sound, high-performing location. The program focuses on building a motivated team and creating an environment where the service team can thrive. Participants work alongside the Sales Team on the lobby floor and in the shop with the Service Team to improve performance and support execution of store processes. Program duration varies, and participants who meet or exceed expectations are typically offered store management opportunities within 3–12 months.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of management experience in automotive or 4 years of management experience.
• Basic understanding of store technology, including POS systems and email.
• Experience with payroll management, expense analysis, and inventory control.
• Experienced technician or bay manager.
• Demonstrated success in employee retention and conflict resolution.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with adaptability to change.
• Ability to review and analyze a profit and loss (P&L) statement.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to develop professional relationships with customers and team members.
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
• Solid knowledge of basic OSHA laws.
• Valid driver's license.
