About The Position

The Fashion Consultant, Fifth Avenue Club drives an individual personal-shopping business by providing outstanding service to clients in an exclusive space, establishing new Saks Fifth Avenue accounts, and growing overall Fifth Avenue Club sales. The role works under the direction of the Suite Manager, Fifth Avenue Club, and is performed onsite. The consultant develops client relationships, sources products for appointments through Saks Fifth Avenue’s inventory networks, and maintains client information and preferences using online clientele tools. The role also involves recruiting clients through events, supporting business growth through digital and social media selling, carrying out basic alteration fittings with guidance and training, and serving as a community and brand ambassador. Other responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

Requirements

At least 3 years of retail experience in a customer-focused luxury sales environment.
Experience with luxury fashion and lifestyle.
Experience working with sales quotas and comfort meeting sales targets in a commission-based selling environment.
An established network or client base on multiple social media platforms and the ability to support business digitally through content creation.
Experience executing events.

Responsibilities

Create and develop excellent client relationships while maintaining a high level of customer service.
Use Club events to recruit new clients, increase sales, and develop existing clients.
Generate and share ideas with the Fifth Avenue Club team to develop individual business opportunities and maximize sales toward or beyond goals.
Use Saks Fifth Avenue’s online clientele tools to record and maintain client information and preferences.
Source products for client appointments through Flagship stores, the digital “endless aisle,” and distribution centers.
Engage with clients and perform basic alteration fittings with guidance and training from the Alterations Director.
Maintain a digital presence to attract new clientele and promote the business through traditional methods and social media selling.
Act as a community and brand ambassador for Saks Fifth Avenue.
Handle ad hoc responsibilities as needed.
