About The Position

S Clyde Weaver is hiring a part-time Farmer's Market Associate for its West Shore Farmers' Market stand. The associate assists with market stand setup, helps customers select products, processes transactions accurately, and operates food service equipment. The schedule requires availability Tuesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays for 8–9-hour shifts. Employees receive free lunches and employee discounts. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic reading, writing, math, and computer skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Positive and friendly attitude.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Ability to lift 30 pounds.
• Must be able to work Tuesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays for 8–9-hour shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assist with weekly market stand setup.
• Greet and assist customers in an engaging and professional manner.
• Maintain current and thorough knowledge of available products.
• Help customers compare products, including flavors, textures, and pairings.
• Answer customer questions and address concerns.
• Make helpful suggestions for customers.
• Handle transactions accurately.
• Make every effort to ensure customers have an excellent shopping experience.
• Train on and operate food service equipment, such as a slicer and chipper.
