Farm Store Warehouse Associate
About The Position
The Farm Store Warehouse Associate supports Farm Store warehouse operations by assisting with customer pick-ups, deliveries, and vendor orders, and helping with inventory, stocking, and merchandising. The role includes learning to safely operate a forklift and other equipment while maintaining a safe and clean warehouse. Associates provide friendly, efficient customer service and cross-train in retail duties such as operating the register, stocking, and cleaning. The position works in an indoor storeroom and outdoors at times to assist with customer needs related to deliveries and pick-ups. Employees must be willing and able to work Saturdays when scheduled and obtain forklift and propane-filling certifications. The role is hourly, full-time, and overtime eligible for hours beyond 40 in a work week; pay is issued biweekly.
Requirements
- At least one year of professional work experience; warehouse, merchandising, or stocking experience is preferred.
- Valid driver's license.
- Willingness and ability to work Saturdays when scheduled.
- Willingness and ability to obtain Forklift and Propane Filling Certifications.
- Ability to focus and work safely when operating equipment and helping customers.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Relationship-building and problem-solving abilities.
- Desire to learn, grow, and work as a cross-functional team member with other EverGRO divisions.
- Creative, adaptable, committed, and driven.
- No minimum education requirement.
Nice To Haves
- Prior knowledge, work experience, or hands-on experience in farming, agriculture, animal health, animal science, planting, gardening, or a related field.
- Warehouse, merchandising, or stocking experience.
Responsibilities
- Support Farm Store warehouse operations.
- Assist with loading and unloading customer pick-ups, deliveries, and vendor orders.
- Learn to safely operate a forklift and other equipment to move products.
- Help maintain a safe and clean warehouse environment.
- Assist with inventory, stocking, and merchandising warehouse needs.
- Provide customers with friendly and efficient service.
- Cross-train to support retail responsibilities, including operating the register, stocking, and cleaning.
- Work outdoors at times to assist customers with deliveries and pick-ups.
