Farm Store Associate (Retail)

About The Position

EverGRO Cooperative is hiring a part-time Farm Store Retail Associate in Louisa to support customers and keep the store running smoothly during busy hours. The role rotates between the sales floor and warehouse according to customer traffic, with work that may include answering product questions, operating the register, organizing and replenishing merchandise, assisting with deliveries and customer purchases, and maintaining a clean and safe store and warehouse. Some tasks take place outdoors in changing weather. Closing shifts focus on resetting the store and tidying the warehouse so the next day starts clean and safe.

Requirements

No previous experience is required.
Willingness and ability to operate a forklift, lift product, and work indoors and outdoors.
Valid driver's license.
Availability to work 3–4 days per week during store hours: Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.–6 p.m.; Saturday, 8 a.m.–3 p.m.; and Sunday, 9 a.m.–3 p.m.
Preference for closing shifts and rotating Saturdays and Sundays.

Responsibilities

Assist customers with product questions and solutions.
Run the register and handle checkout, exchanges, and returns.
Stock shelves, replenish merchandise, and support inventory counts.
Load and unload deliveries and customer purchases; operate a forklift as needed.
Fill propane cylinders.
Maintain a clean, professional, and safe store and warehouse.
Keep products faced and organized, straighten high-traffic areas, and keep walkways clear.
Reset the store and tidy the warehouse at closing.
