About The Position

EverGRO Cooperative is hiring a part-time Farm Store Retail Associate in Louisa to support customers and keep the store running smoothly during busy hours. The role involves rotating between the sales floor and warehouse according to customer traffic, helping customers with products and purchases, and maintaining an organized, clean, and safe store. Some work takes place outdoors and involves changing weather and a steady pace. Closing shifts focus on resetting the store and tidying the warehouse for the next day.

Requirements

No previous experience is required.
Willing and able to operate a forklift, lift product, and work indoors and outdoors.
Valid driver's license.
Available to work 3–4 days per week during store hours: Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.–6 p.m.; Saturday, 8 a.m.–3 p.m.; Sunday, 9 a.m.–3 p.m. Preference for closing shifts and rotating Saturdays and Sundays.

Responsibilities

Assist customers with product questions and solutions.
Operate the register and handle checkout, exchanges, and returns.
Stock shelves, replenish merchandise, and support inventory counts.
Load and unload deliveries and customer purchases; operate a forklift as needed.
Fill propane cylinders.
Maintain a clean, professional, and safe store and warehouse.
Greet customers, answer questions, and keep products faced and organized.
Check stock levels, straighten high-traffic areas, and keep walkways clear.
Reset the store and tidy the warehouse during closing shifts.
