About The Position

Hog Slat, Inc., the world’s leading provider of parts, equipment and turn-key construction to the swine & poultry industries, is seeking a Fans/Bill of Materials (BOM) Supervisor with excellent reasoning and mathematical skills to join the team at our Clinton, NC Manufacturing location.

Requirements

• Two years in a supervisory/management role required.
• Three years working in a manufacturing environment required.
• A demonstrated ability to lead people and get results through others.
• An ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds daily.
• Stable work history required.
• Ability to understand and use our computer applications and data collection and recording.
• Strong conflict resolution, time management, and hands-on knowledge of Lean Manufacturing.
• Fluent in English and Spanish required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and direct daily production schedules, assign workstations, and track output goals.
• Record daily numbers and send updated report throughout the day and end of shift.
• Ensure effective employee relations; provide employee coaching and development; resolve employee issues through problem resolution according to company policies.
• Ensure workers follow safety rules, wear protective gear, and maintain adherence to company policies.
• Evaluate various stations of the production operation to ensure optimum efficiency.
• Balance quality, productivity, cost, safety and morale to achieve positive results in all areas; working to continuously improve in all areas.
• Approve timecards or payroll hours, manage shift logs, and report performance metrics to operations managers.
• Track Absenteeism.
