About The Position

This is a full-time position with the Office of the Attorney General. Our Medicaid Fraud, Abuse, and Neglect Services (MFANS) team provides the opportunity to make a positive difference every day in an organization that is unlike any other in our state. As a MFANS Investigator, you will play a vital part in safeguarding taxpayer dollars by investigating and prosecuting healthcare provider fraud that undermines our healthcare system. This critical work focuses on protecting patients in healthcare settings - including nursing homes, hospitals, and pharmacies - where fraud deprives them of quality care and wastes public resources. MFANS also protects the most vulnerable by investigating and prosecuting abuse, neglect, and exploitation in healthcare environments. As an MFANS Investigator, you will conduct investigations into Medicaid provider fraud cases, drug diversion within the healthcare industry, and elder abuse, neglect, and exploitation. This work directly improves patient safety and upholds the integrity of our healthcare system. Join our thriving team with a mission that truly makes a difference in your community.
