About The Position

Professional Services Group is hiring a Family Systems Therapist for its Family Systems Therapy (FST) program, which provides intensive home-based individual and family treatment for youth involved with Kenosha County Youth Justice Court. The program addresses multiple determinants of delinquent behavior and follows the Multisystemic Therapy approach. The therapist works to understand the function of youths' maladaptive behavior and identify strengths within their families. The therapist works with youth and families through multiple weekly contacts in their homes or other community settings. The role is based in Kenosha, Wisconsin, with a hybrid schedule that includes 50% work-from-home days. Local travel throughout Kenosha County is required to meet clients, and mileage is reimbursed. This is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week, Monday-through-Friday position requiring flexibility for afternoon and evening sessions to accommodate family work and school schedules. Clinical supervision hours are available on the job for those seeking LPC or LCSW licensure.

Requirements

Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a closely related field.
Reliable transportation on a daily basis.
Valid driver's license.
Automobile insurance.

Experience working with adolescents, teens, and their families is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Assess clients' therapeutic needs and create, implement, and evaluate treatment plans.
Counsel clients and families in accordance with treatment plans.
Address family systems, mental health, parenting, and alcohol or drug issues through individual, family, and/or group counseling.
Organize and facilitate structured group, individual, and/or family activities.
Intervene as a client advocate in emergency and crisis situations.
Safely transport clients as needed.
