Family Systems Therapist
About The Position
Professional Services Group is hiring a Family Systems Therapist for its Family Systems Therapy (FST) program, which provides intensive home-based individual and family treatment to youth involved with Kenosha County Youth Justice Court. The program addresses multiple determinants of delinquent behavior and follows the Multisystemic Therapy approach. The therapist works with youth and families to understand the function of maladaptive behavior and identify family strengths, meeting with them multiple times each week in their homes or other community settings. The role offers clinical supervision hours for candidates seeking licensure as an LPC or LCSW. The position is based in Kenosha, Wisconsin, with a hybrid arrangement that includes 50% work-from-home time. Local travel is required to meet clients in homes and community spaces throughout Kenosha County, and mileage is reimbursed. This is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week position, Monday through Friday, requiring flexibility for afternoon and evening sessions to accommodate family work and school schedules.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a closely related field.
- Reliable transportation on a daily basis.
- Valid driver’s license and automobile insurance.

- Experience working with adolescents, teens, and their families is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assess clients’ therapeutic needs and create, implement, and evaluate treatment plans.
- Counsel clients and families in accordance with treatment plans.
- Address family systems, mental health, parenting, and alcohol or drug issues through individual, family, and/or group counseling.
- Organize and facilitate structured group, individual, and/or family activities.
- Intervene as an advocate for clients in emergency and crisis situations.
- Safely transport clients as needed.
- Meet with youth and families multiple times per week in their homes or other community settings.
