About The Position

Merakey is seeking a Family Support Professional for its program in West Chester, Pennsylvania. The role supports individuals in achieving goals and building independence, following each person’s Individual Support Plan. Work takes place in a variety of settings and may include outings to parks and sensory gardens, as well as supporting social and communication skills. The position also involves assisting with daily hygiene and personal care and teaching daily living activities such as housekeeping and laundry. No experience is required; paid training is provided. The role is PRN, with a pay rate of $19.50.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Clear verbal and written communication.
• Willingness to travel throughout Chester County, Pennsylvania.

Responsibilities

• Follow each individual's Individual Support Plan.
• Encourage, mentor, and coach individuals as they work toward their goals.
• Support social and communication skills in a variety of settings, including parks and sensory gardens.

• Teach and support daily living activities, including housekeeping and laundry.
• Travel throughout Chester County, Pennsylvania.
