About The Position

Lutheran Social Services of WI & Upper MI is hiring an Adult Residential Support Professional for its Grandstone/Eastwood adult residential facilities in Grandstone/Eastwood. The facilities are eight-bed residences providing 24-hour supervision for adults experiencing mental health and/or addiction challenges. Services include crisis support, educational groups, transportation, medication management, and assistance with daily living skills in a safe, recovery-focused environment.

The position has a primary home base, but staff may work at both sites as needed; the two locations are approximately eight minutes apart. This is a full-time third-shift position, scheduled either 7 p.m.–6 a.m. or 10 p.m.–6 a.m., for 40 hours per week. The role supports clients in residential, home, or community settings and promotes recovery, safety, and independence.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Reliable transportation.
• Must pass background, caregiver, and medical checks.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in crisis or mental health work.
• College credits in social work, psychology, or human services.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• De-escalate crisis situations using non-restrictive techniques.
• Support clients in group living, home, or community settings.
• Maintain confidential records and track client progress.
• Facilitate recovery-focused group activities and curriculum.
• Transport clients to appointments and community services.
• Assist with medication administration and basic healthcare needs.
• Promote independence through skill-building and connection to resources.
• Participate in staff meetings, training, and community advocacy.
• Support clients during recreational and educational activities.
• Maintain healthy boundaries and make safety-focused decisions.
• Perform household duties such as grocery shopping and light cleaning.
