As Family Support Coordinator at TEAM, you lead the team that connects families to the resources, relationships, and supports they need to thrive. You’ll supervise Family Support Specialists, build a strong and cohesive team, and ensure that every family in our program experiences TEAM as a place that genuinely cares. This is leadership that matters — and at TEAM, you’ll have the organizational support, the colleagues, and the culture to do it well.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Human Services, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience working with families or in community-based organizations
  • supervisory exp. strongly preferred
  • Strong case management background and knowledge of community resources
  • A hands-on leadership style — equally comfortable coaching your team and stepping in to support families directly
  • Empathy, sound judgment, high integrity, and the ability to work effectively with diverse populations

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Lead, hire, train, and develop Family Support Specialists who are the heart of TEAM’s family engagement work
  • Oversee the development of individualized family partnerships and ensure meaningful goal-setting and consistent follow-up for every family
  • Provide guidance and expertise to staff on social services, case management, and family support best practices
  • Collaborate with Education, Health, and Behavioral Health coordinators to ensure holistic service delivery
  • Oversee child and family data, reporting, and tracking systems to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance
  • Champion parent involvement and plan family events that reflect community interests and build genuine connection
  • Support program governance activities and ensure families have a meaningful voice in the program
  • Build connections with community partners to recruit families for enrollment, represent TEAM’s programs and create a pool of resources that will be used in your team’s important work supporting vulnerable families.
