Join Project for Pride in Living (PPL) as a Family Services Coordinator and play a key role in empowering residents to overcome challenges, achieve their goals, and build brighter futures. In this rewarding, relationship-centered role, you'll provide compassionate, strengths-based, and culturally responsive support to participants in PPL's housing and stability programs. Working alongside individuals and families, you'll help identify opportunities, navigate barriers, and connect residents to critical resources that promote housing stability, economic mobility, and overall well-being. As a trusted partner and advocate, you'll build meaningful relationships that inspire confidence and growth. You'll collaborate with internal teams and community organizations to coordinate services, foster positive outcomes, and ensure residents receive holistic, trauma-informed support tailored to their unique needs.
Requirements
- Experience with case management or supportive housing service planning
- Ability to provide crisis intervention and trauma‑informed support
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Comfort using: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Electronic timecard systems, SharePoint and shared file systems, Case management databases (especially Apricot and Yardi)
- Valid driver’s license, insurance, and reliable vehicle
- Ability and willingness to transport participants as needed
- Degree or coursework in a health or human services‑related field (AA, BA, or BS), or 1–3 years of experience working with the population served

- Experience with Motivational Interviewing, Person‑Centered planning, or DBT skills
Responsibilities
- Build trusting relationships with families and assess strengths, goals, and barriers
- Collaborate with participants to create individualized, participant‑driven service plans
- Support housing stability by helping participants understand leases and communicate effectively with property management
- Connect participants to physical health, mental health, and recovery resources
- Recognize and respond to mental health challenges, chemical dependency, and crisis situations
- Partner with the Youth Services Coordinator to support families with youth and parenting needs
- Conduct home visits to support participant goals and housing stability
- Plan and facilitate resident meetings, on‑site workshops, and community‑building activities
- Encourage engagement within the housing community and the broader neighborhood
- Maintain accurate, timely case notes and required documentation
- Collaborate closely with the Resident Services team and community partners
