About The Position

The Family Service Advisor supports families served by the Diocese of Youngstown Catholic Cemeteries through consultative, relationship-driven conversations. The role guides families through the Order of Christian Funerals and available options, prioritizing accompaniment and compassionate care. The advisor is present throughout families’ experiences, including arrangement meetings, committals, and parish outreach. The position offers autonomy and the opportunity to build a path forward with the support of a team, in an organization founded on Catholic values.

Requirements

2–4 years of experience in a sales environment with face-to-face customer contact.
Bilingual in Spanish.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with compassionate care in person and on the telephone.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage time effectively.
Proficient in computers, software, and technology.
Interest in working in a Catholic environment; applicants of all backgrounds are welcome.
Complete FBI/BCI fingerprint screening, Diocese of Youngstown Safe Environment Training (VIRTUS certificate), and the Diocese of Youngstown Employment Application at the time of formal offer.
