About The Position

The Family Service Advisor role at Calvary Cemetery serves families through consultative, relationship-driven conversations about the Order of Christian Funerals and cemetery options. The position emphasizes accompanying families with care and compassion rather than using pressure-based sales tactics, and it operates within a Catholic-values-based organization. The advisor works autonomously while receiving support from a team. The work is varied and may include arrangement meetings, committals, and parish outreach, supporting families throughout their experiences. CFCS partners with dioceses across the United States to operate cemeteries and has developed tools to support employees’ growth in their roles and service to families.

Requirements

2–4 years working in a sales environment with face-to-face customer contact.
Interest in working in a Catholic environment; applicants from all backgrounds are welcome.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with compassionate care in person and over the telephone.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and excellent time-management skills.
Proficiency with computers, software, and technology.
Complete FBI/BCI fingerprint screening at the time of formal offer.
Complete Diocese of Youngstown Safe Environment Training (VIRTUS certificate).
Complete the Diocese of Youngstown Employment Application.

Responsibilities
