About The Position

JusticeWorks YouthCare is hiring a part-time Family Resource Specialist to support families as they navigate social service and legal systems. The specialist serves as a primary point of contact, assesses family needs, connects families with community resources, and helps them achieve stability. The role is based in Denver County and may involve non-traditional hours, including evenings and weekends.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Experience working with children, youth, and/or families in a variety of settings or environments.
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and access to a vehicle.
• Pass applicable current clearances.
• Pass pre-employment, post-offer drug screening.
• Ability to work non-traditional hours, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assess and engage families in service planning based on demonstrated needs.
• Plan and implement appropriate interventions using evidence-based and best-practice approaches.
• Assist families in accessing and navigating community resources.
• Attend court hearings and provide testimony as required.
• Transport clients using a personal vehicle as necessary.
