About The Position

The Family Resource Center Director provides leadership, strategic direction, and operational oversight for Crittenton Center's Family Resource Center programs and services. This position ensures individuals and families have access to comprehensive support services, community resources, housing stability programs, prevention services, and family-strengthening initiatives. The Director is responsible for program development, staff leadership, community partnerships, budget management, grant compliance, and achieving measurable outcomes that align with Crittenton Center's mission of strengthening children, families, and communities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Human Services, Public Administration, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field required.
  • Minimum of five years of progressively responsible leadership experience in nonprofit, human services, community-based services, or related field.
  • Minimum of three years of supervisory experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and data management systems.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree in Social Work, Public Administration, Counseling, Human Services, or related field preferred.
  • Experience managing grants, budgets, contracts, and community partnerships preferred.
  • Experience working with vulnerable populations, including children, youth, families, and individuals experiencing housing instability preferred.
  • Strong leadership, management, and team development skills.
  • Knowledge of community resources, social service systems, and family support programs.
  • Experience with program development, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Understanding of trauma-informed care, adverse childhood experiences (ACEs), and family-centered practices.

Responsibilities

  • Direct and oversee daily operations of the Resource Center.
  • Develop and implement strategies that increase access to services and improve client outcomes.
  • Ensure programs align with organizational goals, funding requirements, accreditation standards, and community needs.
  • Monitor service delivery and ensure programs are trauma-informed, family-centered, culturally responsive, and strengths-based.
  • Evaluate program effectiveness and implement quality improvement initiatives.
  • Utilize data to identify service gaps and opportunities for program growth.
  • Carry a partial case load.
  • Recruit, hire, train, supervise, and evaluate Resource Center staff.
  • Provide ongoing coaching, support, and professional development opportunities.
  • Foster a collaborative and accountable team culture.
  • Conduct regular staff meetings and performance reviews.
  • Promote employee engagement and retention through effective leadership practices.
  • Serve as the primary representative of the Resource Center within the community.
  • Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with schools, healthcare providers, housing agencies, government entities, nonprofit organizations, and community coalitions.
  • Lead outreach efforts to increase awareness of Resource Center services.
  • Participate in community planning initiatives and collaborative networks.
  • Advocate for individuals and families experiencing barriers to stability and self-sufficiency.
  • Develop and manage program budgets.
  • Monitor expenditures and ensure responsible stewardship of resources.
  • Assist in identifying funding opportunities and supporting grant applications.
  • Ensure compliance with grant requirements, contracts, and reporting obligations.
  • Prepare program reports and outcome data for leadership, funders, and stakeholders.
  • Ensure clients receive high-quality services that promote safety, stability, and well-being.
  • Monitor client satisfaction and program performance indicators.
  • Address service concerns and implement corrective action plans as needed.
  • Ensure confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA and other applicable regulations.
  • Support development of outcome measures that demonstrate program impact.
  • Maintain compliance with agency policies, accreditation standards, and funding requirements.
  • Oversee program documentation and data collection systems.
  • Ensure accurate reporting and record maintenance.
  • Develop and update policies, procedures, and operational guidelines.
  • Participate in strategic planning and organizational leadership initiatives.
