About The Position

Marian House is a holistic, healing community supporting women and their children in transitional housing. We provide a safe, structured, and compassionate environment where families can build stability, strengthen recovery, and move toward long-term self-sufficiency. We are seeking a dedicated Family Program Clinical Case Manager to support residents and families in our transitional housing program. This role provides a combination of case management, counseling, and recovery support, helping families achieve stability through individualized planning, community connections, and ongoing therapeutic engagement. You'll play a key role in guiding families through their recovery journey-supporting mental health, housing transitions, and long-term independence.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Family Therapy, or related field
  • 3-5 years of counseling and/or case management experience
  • Active Maryland licensure (LMSW, LGPC, or equivalent)
  • Experience with: Trauma-informed care, Substance use and co-occurring disorders, Evidence-based approaches (e.g., Motivational Interviewing, CBT)
  • Strong organizational, documentation, and communication skills
  • Ability to build therapeutic relationships and work collaboratively
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Nice To Haves

  • In-house clinical supervision for those pursuing LCSW-C or LCPC licensure.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate new resident orientation, including move-in support and development of Individual Recovery Plans (IRPs)
  • Provide weekly counseling and case management to families, tracking progress toward goals
  • Serve as a therapist, advocate, and care coordinator, connecting residents to: Mental health services, Substance use treatment, Healthcare and community resources
  • Support residents in securing permanent housing upon program completion
  • Monitor and coordinate drug screening for assigned residents
  • Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in compliance with agency standards
  • Collaborate with internal teams (program staff, employment, education, and intake)
  • Participate in case reviews, staff meetings, and supervision
  • Contribute to a team-based environment, including occasional on-call support
