About The Position

MainStreet Family Care is seeking a full-time Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join their growing team in Jasper, GA. This role focuses on providing patient-centered care to help patients feel better quickly, with services including urgent care, primary medical care, telemedicine, and occupational medicine. The ideal candidate will be able to lead a small team in a high-volume, fast-paced urgent care setting. This opportunity is open to new graduates, offering comprehensive training and ongoing support, including a complimentary pediatric urgent care course and access to an on-call provider for clinical decision-making. FNPs will utilize their full scope of practice, treating patients of all ages from infants to geriatrics, which helps maintain and enhance clinical skills. The role emphasizes leadership, with FNPs acting as the primary medical provider in the clinic, supported by treatment protocols and a team of medical assistants. The position also supports rural communities by providing much-needed access to care, with clinics open 362 days a year. MainStreet clinics in underserved areas may qualify for tuition reimbursement or student loan reimbursement grants, and the company assists with the application process. Requirements

• Family Nurse Practitioner Board Certification required.
• MSN, or higher education required.
• DOT certified or willing to become DOT certified (cost covered by the company).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience working in EMR and Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, etc.) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Care for every patient who comes through the door within your scope of practice.
• Diagnose and treat cold, flu, strep, COVID, and other upper respiratory issues.
• Perform minor procedures such as toenail removal and foreign object removal.
• Suture wounds.
• Splint fractures.
• Conduct general orthopedic evaluations and management.
• Review x-rays (to be over-read by a Radiologist).
• Manage general dermatology issues.
• Address general eye problems.
• Perform general EKG interpretations.
• Utilize emergency management skills.
• Provide general GYN expertise.
• Treat children of all ages.
• Provide occupational medicine services.
• Conduct telemedicine appointments.
