The schedule for this position is Monday, Wednesday & Friday from 8am to 4:30pm, and Tuesday & Thursday from 9am to 5:30pm. The health center is located at 501 W. Church St, ORLANDO, FL 32805. Marathon Health emphasizes work-life balance by offering a smaller patient panel size, allowing for more extended patient appointments (20-60 minutes), a strong focus on prevention and wellness, acute and chronic disease management, and reduced administrative and insurance-related tasks. Success is measured by health outcomes rather than patient volume or billing, as it is not a fee-for-service model.
Requirements
- Active license & current ANCC or AANP board certification required
- CPR/BLS certification required at time of start date
Nice To Haves
- Independent practice provider preferred, where applicable per State regulation.
- Federal DEA number preferred; may be required for full prescribing ability.
- Independent family practice experience including routine wellness care, chronic care management, and urgent visit, preferred
- Full Practice Authority is strongly preferred where applicable per State guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Practice relationship-based medicine at the top of your license.
- Offer wholistic care including prevention, chronic disease management and health education to your patients.
- Utilize resources such as UpToDate and RubiconMD.
- Work autonomously.
