About The Position

MainStreet Family Care is seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join their team in North Central Alabama. This role involves providing patient-focused care across various clinics, with a home location factored in. The FNP will be responsible for delivering urgent care, primary medical care, telemedicine, and occupational medicine services. The ideal candidate will be adaptable to working with different teams in multiple clinics and demonstrate leadership in a high-volume, fast-paced urgent care setting.

Requirements

• Family Nurse Practitioner Board Certification required
• MSN, or higher education required
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• COVID vaccination required as a condition of employment

Nice To Haves

• Experience working in EMR and Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, etc.) preferred

Responsibilities

• Minor surgery (toenail removal, foreign object removal, etc.)
• Suturing
• Splinting
• General Orthopedic evaluations/management
• Review of x-rays (to be over-read by Radiologist, too)
• General Dermatology
• General eye problems
• General EKG interpretations
• Emergency management skills
• General GYN expertise
• Treating children of all ages
• Occupational medicine
• Telemedicine
