About The Position
Southern California Permanente Medical Group (SCPMG) is seeking a Family Medicine physician to serve in the San Bernardino County Service Area. The position offers a comprehensive benefits and longevity-based compensation package intended to enable physicians to focus on providing exceptional patient care. Physicians may become a Partner/Owner of SCPMG after three consecutive years of full-time employment or six consecutive years of part-time employment. Partnership includes increased benefits, such as compensation, retirement, and life insurance, as well as voting rights on organizational decisions. The San Bernardino County Service Area serves a culturally and topographically diverse population in the northeastern section of the LA Basin. Its healthcare system includes two hospitals in Fontana and Ontario and more than 19 medical office buildings. The area provides tertiary and specialty services, academic opportunities, and opportunities for leadership, teaching, academic pursuits, and specialization. It has nine residency and fellowship programs and serves as a clinical rotation site for the Bernard J. Tyson Kaiser Permanente School of Medicine, as well as a host for medical students and residents from other institutions. The service area emphasizes teamwork, respect, integrity, diversity, wellness, and work-life balance. Physicians must be board certified or board eligible.
