The Cheshire Medical Center/Dartmouth Health Family Medicine Residency Program is seeking a Core Faculty member to join their growing team. This is a community-based 6-6-6 Family Medicine residency located in a rural regional referral center affiliated with the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth. The program is expanding its faculty team as it grows, with the third class of 6 residents starting July 2026. The ideal candidate will be passionate about practicing and teaching full-scope family medicine, creating a lasting impact at a new program, and will have opportunities for leadership, professional growth, and a strong connection to the community. The role involves providing direct clinical care, supervising residents in various settings, and participating in curriculum development and program improvement. Osteopathic candidates are encouraged to apply and can contribute to building the osteopathic curriculum. The program's vision is to train graduate physicians who will provide high-quality, patient-centered medical care and collaborate to meet community health needs. The Core Faculty member will play a significant role in resident education and supervision, including teaching, evaluating, and providing feedback. They will also develop and manage a patient panel within the residency practice at the Family & Community Care Center, which serves marginalized individuals and has a special emphasis on the care of the rural LGBTQ+ community. Faculty are eligible for an academic appointment at the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth. The program seeks candidates who will contribute to the diversity and excellence of the community through their teaching, scholarship, and/or service.
