About The Position

An established teaching healthcare organization is seeking a full-time Family Medicine Residency Core Faculty Physician in Moultrie, Georgia. The role includes a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, typically consisting of two clinic days, one resident precepting day, and dedicated weekly administrative and educational time. There is no required overnight call; optional inpatient or obstetric coverage is available. Clinic volume is approximately 10–12 patients per half-day session. The physician will provide full-spectrum outpatient Family Medicine, including low-risk prenatal and postpartum care, and teach and supervise residents through clinical precepting, lectures, and curriculum development. The position is based in a modern teaching clinic with procedure rooms, ultrasound equipment, and simulation facilities. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Requirements

MD or DO with an accredited Family Medicine residency completed by the start date.
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine through ABFM or AOBFM.
Georgia medical license or eligibility through the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact.
Strong interest in resident education and full-spectrum Family Medicine.

Nice To Haves

Previous Graduate Medical Education (GME) faculty experience is preferred but not required; training is available.
