About The Position

One Medical is hiring a per diem, hourly Family Medicine Physician as a casual employee in Fairfield County, Connecticut. The role involves providing outpatient primary care for patients with a broad range of needs, including acute, chronic, and preventive visits. It is not a panel-building role. Care is delivered in-office and, occasionally, through telehealth. The physician collaborates with in-office teammates in daily huddles and with virtual clinical teams, applies their clinical training, and may perform in-office procedures. The role is 8–23 patient-care hours per week and is benefits-ineligible. The hourly rate is $161.00; starting pay may vary according to practice experience and patient-care schedule, and additional pay may be available for candidates who exceed the stated qualifications. The work schedule may change based on business direction. Casual/per diem providers receive malpractice insurance, an UpToDate subscription, a company-issued laptop for secure EHR access, and sick-time PTO as required by local law. One Medical describes its mission as making quality primary care more affordable, accessible, and enjoyable through in-office and virtual care, on-site labs, and preventive, chronic-care, common-illness, and mental-health programs. One Medical joined Amazon in February 2023. The company encourages qualified applicants of every background, ability, and life experience to apply.
