The anticipated average is 8–20 patient-care hours per week, though actual hours vary according to office needs. The weekly schedule includes work at several Bethesda clinics and may change based on business direction. Candidates must be licensed, or able to obtain licensure, in Maryland, Virginia, and/or Washington, DC. One Medical providers are expected to deliver evidence-based, human-centered care, communicate effectively with people from varied backgrounds, use technology effectively, work collaboratively, respond constructively to feedback, and adapt to uncertain situations and patient needs. The hourly rate is $135.00. Starting pay may vary based on practice experience and patient-care schedule; additional pay may be determined for candidates exceeding the stated qualifications. Casual/per diem/locums providers receive malpractice insurance, an UpToDate subscription, a One Medical-issued laptop, and sick-time PTO as required by local law. Other benefits described for eligible regular team members working 24 or more hours per week include medical, dental, and vision plans; commuter benefits; a 401(k) match; childcare assistance; paid maternity and paternity leave; life and disability insurance; and additional wellness and professional-development offerings.
