About The Position

We are seeking a Family Medicine Physician to provide comprehensive medical care to patients of all ages in a free-standing clinic setting. The role involves managing a patient panel of approximately 18 patients per day, handling annual wellness visits, well child visits, sick visits, and follow-ups for ER, hospitalizations, and pre-operative care. The physician will work Monday-Thursday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM and Friday from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, averaging 20 shifts per month. The patient population is primarily adult (89%) with a smaller percentage of pediatric patients (11%). The clinic utilizes eClinical Works for its EMR system. Credentialing typically takes 45 days, with temporary privileges available.

Requirements

• Active Pennsylvania licensure
• Board certification
• AHA BLS and ACLS certifications
• Minimum 1-year Family Medicine experience or equivalent
• Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school
• Residency training program in internal medicine accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or American Osteopathic Association (AOA)
• Board certification in Family Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) or the AOA
• Active and unrestricted medical license in Pennsylvania

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive medical care to patients across a variety of clinical settings, including evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of acute and chronic conditions
• Conduct thorough patient histories, physical examinations, and clinical assessments
• Order, interpret, and review diagnostic testing including laboratory work, imaging, and other studies as appropriate
• Develop and implement individualized treatment and care plans based on patient needs and evidence-based practices
• Prescribe medications, treatments, and therapeutic interventions within scope of practice
• Manage ongoing patient care, including follow-up evaluations and coordination of treatment plans
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity and quality of care
• Document patient encounters, treatment plans, and clinical findings accurately and in compliance with facility standards
• Respond to patient concerns and provide education regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and preventive care
• Maintain compliance with facility policies, credentialing requirements, and applicable regulatory standards
• Adapt quickly to new clinical environments, workflows, and electronic medical record systems
• Stay current on medical advancements, clinical guidelines, and best practices through continuing medical education and professional development
