About The Position

One Medical is seeking a per diem Family Medicine Physician to support its Chicago clinics. This is a casual, hourly clinician role providing 8–23 patient-care hours per week and is benefits-ineligible. The role is not panel-building: the physician will see patients with a broad range of needs, including acute, chronic, and well visits, in office and occasionally through telehealth. The physician will collaborate with in-office teammates through daily huddles and with virtual clinical teams, use their clinical training, and may perform in-office procedures. One Medical describes itself as a primary care solution focused on making quality care more affordable, accessible, and enjoyable through in-office and 24/7 virtual care, on-site labs, and preventive, chronic care, common illness, and mental health programs. One Medical joined Amazon in February 2023. The role supports clinics in Wicker Park, Lincoln Park, The Loop, Fulton Market, and River North. The Lincoln Park clinic offers Saturday shifts. The hourly rate is $120.00; starting pay may vary based on practice experience and patient-care schedule, and additional pay may be determined for candidates exceeding specified qualifications and requirements. Casual/per diem/locums providers receive malpractice insurance coverage and an UpToDate subscription, and are issued a laptop for secure access to the EHR. Sick time PTO eligibility is in accordance with local requirements.
